Nursing home planned for Livingston site

randolph-hill-nursing-homesRandolph Hill Nursing Homes Group is to build a 60-bed care home on the former Livingston Development Corporation site.

The Edinburgh-based company has bought the land and has been granted planning permission from West Lothian Council. 

Randolph Hill will invest £6m in building the facility which will employ 80 staff. It hopes to begin building works within two years.

The company owns and operates six nursing homes across central and east Scotland, including a West Lothian facility in Broxburn. It is carrying out an extensive re-build of its Muirfield nursing home in Gullane, East Lothian.

Managing Director, Peter McCormick, said: “We are confident that our investment will enhance the site and benefit the wider community. We look forward to bringing these plans to fruition.”
