Expansion into Middle East

Administrate breaks new ground in Beirut

John Peebles 2Technology firm Administrate has added to its international growth by opening an office in Lebanon.

The Edinburgh-based provider of training software has had ambitions to extend into the Middle East and North Africa.

Its new outlet in Beirut is thought to be the first in the country by an early stage Scottish company.

It follows its expansion in the US and the opening of a base in Montana in April.

Clients include blue chip companies such as PwC and Morgan International.

Administrate launched an Arabic version of its site earlier in the year as part of a wider expansion into the Middle East.

Bob Sabra, former head of digital business at Morgan International, has been hired to run Administrate’s MENA operation.

Administrate chief executive John Peebles,, said: “Our first customer was headquartered in Beirut and MENA is one of our fastest-growing markets so we’re delighted to finally have a presence in the region.

“Like Bozeman in the USA and Edinburgh here in Scotland, Beirut is a multicultural, beautiful city that boasts a vibrant local talent pool and shares our values.”
