EQ Accountants names new partner
Brought up in Montrose, Ms Haig joins the firm from Henderson Loggie. Prior to that she worked at KPMG. She undertook her examinations with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), qualifying in 1992. A graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Ms Haig went on to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) in 1995.
She said: “I am extremely proud to be joining EQ as a Partner. The combination of working with a firm of such high calibre, and being based within the Angus area where I grew up, particularly appeals to me.”
Graeme Davidson, partner added: “Angela is well known to the Angus business community and her appointment confirms our intention to deliver a first class service.”
With offices in Cupar, Dundee, Forfar and Glenrothes, EQ employs more than 100 staff, and now has 16 partners. With plans to grow further and recruit into a range of positions within the months ahead, EQ’s current turnover is over £6.5 million.
