CBRE lets space to growth firm

Software firm relocates to city offices

35-39 St Vincent placeThornton Tomasetti, a software engineering consultancy, has outgrown its space at the Strathclyde university incubator and taken new offices in Glasgow city centre.

It will occupy a 2,100 sq ft office at 35-39 St Vincent Place on a five-year sub-lease.

The company said needed to occupy bigger premises to copy with a significant increase in staff numbers.

35-39 St. Vincent Place is close to George Square and Queen Street rail station.

Sophie Clancy of CBRE said:  “It is great news that we’ve been able to find a new office for Thornton Tomasetti in Glasgow.

“It is a beautiful building in the heart of the city centre with fantastic panoramic views to the south.  I’m sure it will be a fitting home for Thornton Tomasetti as it expands its business in Glasgow.”

CBRE acted on behalf of Thornton Tomasetti while the head tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
