Six faces from Scotland in ‘vibrant economy’ list
Six business figures based in Scotland feature in a new list of those identified as helping to shape a vibrant economy in the UK.
The list, compiled by Grant Thornton highlights those who have developed a culture that empowers, develops and motivates their people, who are solving problems in an innovative way, or creating new ways and models of doing things, and who are making a positive contribution to the wider local or national community.
The six in Scotland are Josh Littlejohn of Social Bite, Petra Wetzl of West Brewery, Mark Simmers of Celtic Renewables, Cally Russell of Mallzee (pictured above), Marie Owen of LS Productions, and Bruce Walker of We Are The Future.
Grant Thornton’s managing partner in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Andrew Howie, said: “Following the result of the EU referendum it is even more important than ever that we all work together to help the UK to build upon its strengths and ensure that our economy continues to grow.
“Today we’re celebrating the achievements of these six faces driving a vibrant economy and sharing their stories to inspire others.”
