Firm adds to advisory team

New policy officers for Scottish Land & Estates

Anne GrayKaty DicksonScottish Land & Estates is to strengthen its policy team with a number of promotions and appointments. 

Anne Gray (far left)becomes become Senior Policy Officer. She has been with the company since 2007 and holds the environment and access remits. 

Katy Dickson (pictured right) who has been with the organisation since 2014, becomes Senior Policy Officer overseeing the business, property & communities portfolio. Prior to joining the business she worked as a chartered surveyor in Perth.

Sarah-Jane Laing, director of policy & parliamentary affairs, retains overall responsibility for the policy unit.  The policy appointees will also continue to work closely with Dr Andrew Midgley, projects and research manager, and Jason Rust, the organisation’s legal adviser.

Douglas McAdam, chief executive, said: “How Scotland’s land is used to deliver benefits for business, communities and the wider public has changed significantly over the last decade and with the added uncertainty over our future relationship with Europe, it has never been more important to develop policy that will deliver for the environment and rural Scotland in parallel.”
