Broadcaster moves into academia

Uni calls as Bradford heads to Aberdeen

Eleanor BradfordBBC Scotland health correspondent Eleanor Bradford is leaving her role after 14 years at the corporation to join Aberdeen University as head of communications.

Ms Bradford is also a trustee of national charity, Adoption UK and regular chairs and speaks at conferences.

Before taking up her current role she was a general reporter for BBC Scotland TV and Radio news and News 24. and a presenter of breakfast bulletins.

She joined the BBC as a trainee in Plymouth in 1995.
