Strang added to tax team at Grant Thornton
Grant Thornton has appointed a tax associate director in the Scottish practice. James Strang has more than 14 years’ experience, including nine years in his previous post at EY, specialising in the oil and gas sector.
The chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser will be based in the firm’s Edinburgh office where he will provide international tax advice and support to a range of clients, including large corporates.
Vishal Chopra, head of tax in Scotland, said: “James has a wealth of experience working with some of the world’s best known brands and assisting the oil and gas sector through a particularly challenging time. His knowledge on international tax combined with his commitment and passion will be a great asset to Grant Thornton as we continue to drive forward our Scottish growth strategy.”
