Nucleus party

Nucleus Financial celebrated its 10th anniversary by announcing that it has burst through £10 billion in assets under management.

David Ferguson, founder and chief executive of the Edinburgh-based wrap platform, said that he believed the company had helped change the industry. The company now works with 80,000 clients and 1,500 advisers.

“Hopefully, we have helped to create a modern, transparent industry,” he said, speaking to Daily Business at a party at the Surgeons’ Hall in Edinburgh.

“When we started everyone was demanding that the industry put the customer first. We did. How is it different? The customer pays less and they are more engaged.

“We were before Fintech, but we brought technology to the industry.”
