Get ready to be pampered at Spa in the City
St Andrew Square Garden will be transformed into an oasis of new trends and treatments, must-have products and advice from experts giving tips and advice.
Now in its ninth year, the boutique event on 2 and 3 July will include ‘Yoga in the Gardens Sessions’ hosted by instructors from the fitness brand Lululemon.
Other additions include mindful meditation classes and the East India Company’s tea and chocolate tastings.
Once again the festival will showcase its Health & Beauty Heroes Marquee with this year’s highlight being an exclusive makeup demo from Scottish social media sensation Jamie Genevieve.
She will also be joining a panel of top industry experts from flagship brands such as Toni & Guy & Lauren Gollan Make-up Academy, who will each be sharing their insider tips on how to make it big in the beauty world.
Superfood cookery demos by The Roxburghe Hotel’s Head Chef Andy Mcrobert, Benefit Brow masterclasses and acupuncture talks with Neal’s Yard Remedies will form part of the Marquee’s offering throughout the weekend.
A number of top retailers are taking part such as Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, Boots, Jenners, Debenhams, Toni & Guy, Neal’s Yard Remedies, The Roxburghe’s Balance Spa and Beauty, Sassoon Salon, Superdrug and Lush.
Fitness fans can also take part in an energetic 2016 Rowing Challenge, partnered with The Roxburgh Leisure Club for a chance to win a year’s gym membership whilst Molton Brown and Crabtree and Evelyn will be offering in-store shopper freebies.
Spa in the City is partnering up with Scottish Mothers Collective to run a host of activities for busy mums, along with face painters for children.

Hosted by Essential Edinburgh, Spa in the City was established to in ensure the city centre excels in all aspects of leisure and to bring families and shoppers into the city centre.
