New role for former insurance exec

Campbell lined up for Woodford chair

Marcia CampbellFormer Standard Life director Marcia Campbell is to become chairman of Woodford Investment Management’s oversight board.

Campbell will replace outgoing Mary Reilly, who is stepping down two years after the launch of the firm headed by Neil Woodford.

She spent almost 20 years at Standard Life in a number of roles which included company secretary and running its operation in the Asia Pacific region. Her departure was announced in November 2009.

Ms Campbell is a non-executive director of Sainsbury’s Bank, Murray International Trust and Canada Life. Until recently she was operations director at Ignis Asset Management.
