Wade takes new role to drive Vardy’s growth

Cameron WadeCameron Wade has been appointed managing director of the motor division at Peter Vardy Group.

In this newly-created role Mr Wade will help support the continued expansion of the car dealer group.

He said the role will allow chief executive Peter Vardy to dedicate more time to strategic growth in the motor trade sector and in new business opportunities.

During two years as commercial director, Mr Wade’s primary role has been to support the development of the Vauxhall division and key head office functions to deliver record profit growth.

A chartered ccountant, he trained with Ernst & Young before joining the motor trade. He worked initially at Reg Vardy, running the Mercedes businesses, before moving to Parks Motor Group and its BMW/Mini businesses.

He returned to Peter Vardy in 2014 as commercial director, having previously worked with the group in 2007 when he won the AM Rising Star Award for general management while running the then newly acquired BMW/Mini business in Edinburgh.
