Travel firm Egencia takes floor of Lomond House

Lomond HouseCorporate travel company, Egencia UK, a division of Expedia Group, is to open an office in the heart of Glasgow.

It has leased the entire sixth floor of 9 George Square, comprising 7,241sq ft (672.7sq m), at a rent of £24.50 per sq ft based on a ten year full repairing and insuring lease.

Andy Cunningham, who represented the landlord, Epic UK, said the building is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment and it was a testament to the work being done that it had landed a “prestigious” tenant.

9 George Square, known as Lomond House, is a B-listed building over ten floors. The other occupier is Skills Development Scotland.

Egencia, which was represented by Colliers International, employs more than 2,200 staff worldwide, serving more than 4 million business travellers and has offices in London and Manchester.
