Three outlets planned

Ramsay to open UK restaurants outside London

Ramsay is considering sites in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester over the next 18 months, according to Stuart Gillies, chief executive of the Gordon Ramsay Group who told The Guardian there is “a great dining experience” in these cities.

There was no confirmation on which of his formats he would choose for the new establishments but he has been expanding Maze Grill, its upmarket chain, and Kitchen, which offers casual dining.

Ramsay is also planning three new restaurants in the US including one in Las Vegas called Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips. The US restaurants will build on his partnership with Caesars Palace, the casino operator with which he already operates four outlets in the US.
