Whitson lands new role at Strutt & Parker
Strutt & Parker’s Inverness office has appointed Rob Whitson as head of land management. He succeeds Andrew Hamilton who retired last autumn.
Mr Whitson, a former army officer, said: “Everyone loves rural Scotland and it is a beautiful and exciting environment in which to work.
“I am really excited at the opportunity to join Strutt & Parker and I am very much looking forward to taking up new challenges and expanding the business.”
Mr Whitson joins from CKD Galbraith in Inverness where he worked for six years, having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2008. He concentrated there primarily on estate management work while also serving as clerk to two district fishery boards, Brora and Cromarty Firth, and providing valuations and other professional services work.
Kevin Maley, partner in charge of Strutt & Parker’s Inverness office, said: “Rob is an experienced and well-respected land agent. He joins Strutt & Parker at an exciting time and he will play a vital role in our ongoing expansion plans.”
