Two food firms secure orders from Aldi
Strathmore Foods and Borders Gourmet have secured deals with Aldi’s 65 Scottish stores worth more than £470,000.
Julie Nisbet, managing director of Strathmore Foods, said: “This new deal with Aldi is a great extension of what we have been doing with them since we first started working together in 2008.”
Alison Tweedie from Borders Gourmet added: “We have been proudly working with Aldi since 2013 and this new deal is a reflection of how this relationship has gone from strength to strength.”
Richard Holloway, managing director of Aldi in Scotland, said: “Strathmore Foods and Borders Gourmet are great examples of Scottish businesses producing high quality products that really appeal to our customers.
“Working with the best suppliers in the country is a priority for us and we are continually looking for the best quality Scottish produce.”
