Firm focused on service

Sixth deal for busy Exchange Communications

Exchange Tom SimeScottish telecoms equipment installer Exchange Communications has marked its 25th anniversary with its sixth contract in recent weeks.

The three-year deal with Rugby council in Warwickshire follows five deals in Scotland for the Glasgow-based firm.

These are with Edinburgh architecture practice Lewis & Hickey, Kilmarnock transport and haulage company Richmond Menzies, and Glasgow companies 3Linx Unified Commerce, Minster Cleaning, and Corporate Benefits.

Exchange will provide a range of tailored solutions for each company including new telephone system, mobile phone and calls and lines solutions.

These wins come on the back of recently-announced work in Moscow for global companies Hasbro, Experian and Thermo Fisher.

It now sells to more than 100 countries and has 55% of its work overseas.

However, managing director Tom Sime said: “While an increasing part of our success is done overseas, these new wins show that the domestic market is still massively important to this company.

“We are putting a particular focus on the service part of our business this year, as it brings in a steady volume of business and cements relationships with our installation customers.”
