Whyte takes up environment role at Atmos
A graduate in environmental design from Glasgow University, she has worked across the environmental, water and renewable energy sectors in the UK and overseas for more than eight years, for companies such as URS (New Zealand), WSP and most recently Carter Jonas.
Throughout her career, she has been responsible for managing the EIA process for a range of large scale infrastructure, renewable energy and property development projects across the entire development process – from initial constraints mapping, pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, scoping and screening to supporting environmental studies and impact assessments. She also has extensive experience of carrying out environmental due diligence on behalf of financial institutions and investors for multi-million pound projects.
Newly appointed managing director of Atmos Consulting Jean Curran said: “Sarah brings an impressive range of technical expertise and has an excellent reputation for delivering commercially robust results, undertaking environmental impact assessment to take projects through the consenting process. Her appointment only strengthens our already impressive Planning and EIA team.”
