First redesign for 13 years
Scots drive new Aston Martin to record orders
Scots love their fast cars and because of its association with a Scottish secret agent Aston Martin tends to be a particular favourite.
Orders for the latest model, the DB11, have broken records at the marque’s only dealership in Scotland.
Fourteen buyers handed over a cheque for £154,900 even before the car was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, and a further four placed an order at the weekend when it made an appearance in the showroom in Sighthill for a day.
The DB11 is the first redesign of the DB range for 13 years. For petrolheads among you, here are the specifications:
Engine: 5.2L twin-turbo V12
Power: 600 HP // 516 lb-ft of Torque
0-62: 3.9 sec
Top Speed: 200 mph
