Tasker promoted to FD at Argyll Holidays

Linsey TaskerArgyll Holidays has promoted Linsey Tasker to group finance director of the holiday park business.

Ms Tasker joined the company as head of finance in 2010. She now manages 13 direct reports across finance, IT, systems, HR and payroll departments.

In her time with the business Ms Tasker has streamlined the company’s cost management processes, and improved the management of the budgets for more than 240 employees across 20 cost centres.

She  was named Argyll Holidays’ employee of the year after playing a a fundamental role in the restructure of the group and the negotiations which saw Argyll Holidays’ acquire Loch Lomond Holiday Park in 2014.

She said: “I look forward to this new challenge in my career, as we continue to grow domestically and look to increase our footfall from overseas.”

Allan Campbell, director of Argyll Holidays, said: “Over the past six years, Linsey’s expertise and innovation have been crucial to the growth of Argyll Holidays and I am pleased to announce her promotion to group finance director.”

Ms Tasker served as finance director of optometrists Black & Lizars for 15 years, overseeing the acquisition of J. Lizars by C. Jeffrey Black Opticians in 1999 and the sale of the business in 2009.

Argyll Holidays was founded in 1967 and today runs eight holiday parks in the west coast of Scotland.
