Move to Bridgeside House
New European head office in Edinburgh for travel firm
The company has become the first tenant in the newly refurbished Bridgeside House, taking a 1,567 square feet office in the building’s ground floor.
Bridgeside House provides a mixture of new build office accommodation and traditional town house accommodation that are interconnected. Colpitts has signed a five year lease with an option to extend.
Ian Scholes (pictured), director of European operations at Colpitts, said: “Our move to Bridgeside House represents an upgrading of our office premises as it will offer us bright and flexible open plan space which will facilitate flexible working opportunities for our people. This move comes at an exciting time for our business as we look to recruit new colleagues to our team.
Mike Irvine, Montagu Evans commented: “The re-location of Colpitts World Travel sees the building partly occupied for the first time.”
Duncan Tait of Bridgeside House contractors J. Smart & Co. said: “Following a substantial lull in the office market over the past 5 years there has been a recent notable increase in tenant enquiries. Given the flexibility, quality finish and car parking on offer at Bridgeside House we feel that we are well placed to attract further tenants to the development.”
Bridgeside House was developed by J. Smart & Co. with Montagu Evans and Knight Frank appointed joint agents to market the available office space.
