Baroness seeking new life
Mone ‘finds love’ and now house-hunting in Barbados
The former Ultimo boss posted smiling pictures of herself with new beau Stefan Soroka, a professional golfer who is said to have a home on the island and works near the Sandy Lane resort.
Lady Mone, 44, was appointed to the House of Lords by Prime Minister David Cameron last October and is a government adviser on business start-ups. Apparently, she has yet to speak in the House, but she did vote in favour of cutting tax credits for hard-up families.
Taking time out from touring Britain’s deprived areas, she tweeted: “Celebrating 20 amazing years at Ultimo and selling out! Incredible brand, love you. House hunting #Barbados.” She added: “You can turn your life around. Sold Ultimo, new businesses are doing exceptionally well and after three years madly in love.”She later said she had spent the day writing up her government review.
Ms Mone, who has been divorced from former husband Michael since 2011, sparked engagement rumours when she was seen during a visit to the Caribbean island last month wearing a large ring.
She responded by saying: “Haha, no, I’m not engaged. The ring is from my new jewellery collection launching on QVC”.
