Hughes takes over as FOIL chairman
BLM, the UK and Ireland risk and insurance law business, has appointed BLM partner Frank Hughes (pictured) as chairman of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL) in Scotland.
Mr Hughes replaces Tony Murray. Jonathan Clay, from the firm’s Manchester office, will remain on the National Executive Committee and Alison Cassidy who is based in BLM’s Belfast office will continue as regional representative for Northern Ireland.
Mr Hughes brings more than 25 years of industry experience particularly concerning complex and high value claims.
He is an accredited specialist in personal injury law and acts as an expert witness in solicitor’s negligence cases.
