Firm briefs Chinese delegation
Telco makes the point in mandarin
A feather in the cap of Scottish telecoms provider FarrPoint which was recommended for a meeting with a delegation from China who wanted an update on broadband technology while on a visit to Edinburgh.
FarrPoint principal consultants, Jan Miszalowski (pictured), and Jean-Donan Olliero met officials from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology because of the firm’s expertise in high speed wireless broadband.
They were asked to explain how the public and private sectors have worked together in Scotland and provide updates on developments in mobile technology, building infrastructure for broadband and wifi delivery, transitioning to 4G and 5G, the Internet of Things and radio spectrum management.
As if that wasn’t enough, it all had to be translated into mandarin.
