Brady heads trio switching to Shepherd and Wedderburn

Yvonne BradyShepherd and Wedderburn has lured a team of new partners from HBJ Gateley, including Yvonne Brady (pictured), regarded as one of Scotland’s most experienced recovery lawyers.

Fiona McKerrell and John Gallacher also join the restructuring and insolvency practice.

Ms Brady, who will become head of the team, said: “Shepherd and Wedderburn has a fantastic pedigree in the restructuring and insolvency market and I am absolutely thrilled to have been asked to head up a large and talented team which boasts top ranked lawyers.”

She has more than 30 years’ experience in the insolvency and restructuring market, advising banks, corporate lenders and insolvency practitioners on all aspects of corporate restructuring and formal insolvency.

Ms McKerrell is well known in the insolvency arena and Mr Gallacher has particular expertise in distressed property finance lending.
