Two awards for Johnston Carmichael
Scottish accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael, has picked up two awards at the British Accountancy Awards 2015 – Restructuring Project of the Year and Corporate Finance Team of the Year.
These annual awards recognise those that have demonstrated excellence and innovation in the UK accountancy profession over the past 12 months. Winners were announced at a ceremony at The Brewery in London.
This win comes after Johnston Carmichael received the Insolvency Team of the Year accolade at the 2015 Scottish Accountancy and Finance Awards in June this year.
Donald McNaught, partner in the Johnston Carmichael Restructuring team, who was responsible for the winning project, commented: “We are delighted to receive the award for Restructuring Project of the Year, which recognises the hard work and tireless efforts of our team in getting the best outcome for businesses going through structural change.

Andrew Ewing, Head of the Johnston Carmichael Corporate Finance team, who collected the award for Corporate Finance Team of the Year commented:

Our specialists have dedicated knowledge across a range of sectors which helps us adapt to suit the situation of any business. Winners of the 2015 British Accountancy Awards were chosen by a panel of leading industry experts from organisations including PwC, Taylor Wessing, KPMG and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
