Business guru hired to enhance culture
Top coach giving Capital a vision for growth
Scottish office equipment supplier, Capital Document Solutions, has enlisted the services of one of the country’s top business gurus in a bid to enhance its corporate vision and culture.
Fergus King (pictured) is working with Capital on a project looking at how these attributes can maximise the growth of both income and equity value in a recovering economy.
Mr King is a partner in Shirlaws business coaching firm and is one of the most experienced business coaches in the UK. He focuses on supporting directors and their teams to design and implement changes to achieve their desired professional and personal outcomes.
He said: “In the same way as the highest performing sports teams engage a coach to help them take their game to the next level, so the highest performing businesses are engaging business coaches to do the same.
“I have been working with Capital Document Solutions for around nine months to support the firm through a period of growth and development.”
Capital decided to look at its own business culture, taking inspiration from American business mogul, Warren Buffett, who said that “culture is everything” at his company Berkshire Hathaway.
Tom Flockhart, managing director said: “Fergus has a fantastic track record of helping businesses blossom and achieve great success, and is well-known for his methodology and hands-on approach to coaching. I am sure that our staff – from the top down – will take something valuable away from this process.”
Mark Harvie, sales director at Capital Document Solutions, said: “Like all companies we are hungry for growth and as such we are actively seeking new and unique ways to build on the success of the business to date.
“We are all benefitting from Fergus’ guidance and advice on how we can enhance our business practices and in turn continue with the growth we have achieved to date.”
