Saxton Bampfylde hosts winter reception

Recruitment firm Saxton Bampfylde held a reception for clients and friends at the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh.

The company was also marking a year since the opening of its first permanent office in the city.

Peta Hay, head of the Scotland practice, welcomed guests who included Sir Iain McMillan, former CBI Scotland director, Susan Deacon, the recently elected chairman of the Institute of Directors Scotland and Ben Thomson, representing the National Galleries.

Also attending was Stephen Bampfylde, one of the firm’s founders, Linda Urquhart of Morton Fraser, and Colin McClatchie, former managing director of News International in Scotland and now chairman of Scottish Opera. Terry Murden, editor and director of Daily Business was also among the attendees.

Guests were invited to view the BP Portrait Award exhibition showcasing the best in contemporary portrait painting from around the world.
