Paris Masters Final

Murray falls again to dominant Djokovic

DjokovicAndy Murray failed in his latest attempt to topple world number one Novak Djokovic after the Serb secured his 10th title of the year with an emphatic victory at the Paris Masters final.

Djokovic beat Britain’s top player 6-2 6-4 in just over 90 minutes to become the first player to win six ATP Masters series events in the same year.

Murray, guilty of numerous unforced errors, including 19 in the opening set, has now lost six of their seven encounters this year.

The Scot will not focus on the Davis Cup final against Belgium in Ghent at the end of this month, when he hopes to help Britain lift the tropohy for the first time since 1936.
