Morton Fraser in running for immigration prize
Top ten Scottish law firm, Morton Fraser, has been shortlisted for Immigration Provider of the Year in the 2015 Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) in the EMEA region.
In addition, Stuart McWilliams, a firm associate, has been shortlisted forGlobal Mobility Rising Star of the Year.
The EMMAs are hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management, the online community of International Human Resource and Global Mobility professionals.
The awards were created to celebrate excellence in global mobility worldwide, and are the only international accolades that truly recognise industry leaders, business successes and rising stars. The EMMAs take place in three regions throughout the year (Americas, APAC & EMEA) and are independently judged by some of the most highly esteemed professionals in the industry.
This is the second year in a row that Morton Fraser has been shortlisted for the Immigration Provider of the Year award and it is the only Scottish law firm to be included.
Reaching the EMMAs’ shortlist builds on the continued success of the firm’s Immigration Team which has been ranked at the highest level in the recently launched 2015 edition of the Legal 500 directory, describing the team as “leading experts in business immigration matters”.
Commenting on being shortlisted, David Hossack (pictured), Partner and Head of the Immigration Team at Morton Fraser said: “We have a fantastic team and credit is due to all of them for a great performance this year. We are all rooting for Stuart as ‘rising star’.”
This year’s winners of the EMMAs will be announced at an award dinner in London on 6 November.
