Business writer Donald joins Herald exodus

Colin DonaldColin Donald, business editor at the Sunday Herald, has decided to take a redundancy package from the Newsquest-owned title.

Donald, who has been in the role for seven years, is the latest senior staff writer to leave the Herald & Times. His departs this Friday and said he was considering a number of options.

He follows long-serving colleagues Richard Walker, editor of the Sunday Herald and The National, Tony Carlin, editor of the Evening Times, and Robbie Dinwoodie, columnist and leader writer at the Herald, who have all departed in recent weeks.
