Aubrey signs up Campbell in distribution role
The firm was founded in Edinburgh in 2006 as a global investment boutique and has £325 million of assets under management across a range of global investment strategies.
Mr Campbell formerly worked at Legal & General, Skandia, and Gartmore, and a number of boutique asset management firms.
Barry McCorkell, chief executive of Aubrey, said: “We are very excited about leveraging John’s distribution experience to help build out our home market presence. We believe that building broader and deeper sustainable relationships with clients in the UK is the best strategic direction for the firm. John comes with detailed industry knowledge and an enviable track record of raising assets.”
Mr Campbell said: “From my perspective, it is the perfect time to join Aubrey. Their performance, philosophy and product range are a compelling combination and absolutely primed for expansion.”
Andrew Dalrymple, chief investment officer, added: “Our recent fund performance confirms that our investment style and process is fit for purpose in these market conditions, so John’s arrival couldn’t be better timed to help us deliver our investment philosophy and performance, in a measured fashion, to UK investors.”
