MacDiarmid takes chair at Ogilvie Group
Ogilvie Group has appointed Willie MacDiarmid (far left) as chairman. He holds the same position at Fallago Rig Wind Farm and is a non-executive director at Smart Metering Systems and Business Stream.
He has been chief executive at Barchester Healthcare and May Gurney and was on the main board at EAGA. He was also on the senior excecutive team at ScottishPower in charge of its energy retail business.
Duncan Ogilvie (pictured, right), chief executive of Ogilvie Group said: “Willie will be an invaluable asset to the business and brings a wealth of experience and skills to the company as we continue to develop and achieve growth plans across all of our operational sectors.
Last year Ogilvie Group increased profitability by 33% to £4 million on turnover of £210m across its operating companies.
