Knight Frank takes plunge on diver Grace
The firm will back Grace through her training as she works towards the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next summer.
Among her many accolades, Grace won her first senior national title with three metre springboard gold at the UK Diving Championships in 2013. She also reached two finals at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and recently won gold at the British Diving Championships in the mixed synchronised diving event.
Grace took up diving at the age of four and has competed both at junior and senior levels over the last few years. She was the youngest person to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games when she competed at Delhi 2010, aged just 14.
She will be involved in a range of activities with Knight Frank, such as helping the office fundraise for its Day of Giving in October, meeting the firm’s clients and joining Knight Frank at events throughout the year.
Alasdair Steele, head of the firm’s Edinburgh commercial office, said: “We are really excited to see how Grace progresses in the sport, after such a phenomenal start to her career. She is one of the most talented young sportswomen in the country, and her hard work and enthusiasm will be an inspiration to our staff and clients as we follow her on her journey.”
Grace added: “Having the support of an international high performing organisation will be fascinating – I’ll be sharing my experiences with staff and clients and I look forward to learning from their journey too. I’m sure this support will give me a competitive edge.”
