Duo boost Gillespie Macandrew in key sectors
Fraser Leslie (left) joins the firm as partner within the energy practice from Bond Dickinson in Aberdeen, while Peter Drummond comes on board as housebuilder associate from McClure Naismith.
Mr Leslie has significant experience of acting for land owners and developers in relation to onshore renewables projects with particular expertise in drafting option agreements, leases and related land issues and property matters. He has also advised major oil operators and service companies on matters including a proposed decommissioning project.
Mr Drummond, who is credited for setting standards for major title research, has acted for blue-chip commercial clients in connection with site sale and acquisition, contract negotiation and litigation.
He will work from the Glasgow office, while Mr Leslie will join the team in Edinburgh. Gillespie Macandrew has a Scotland-wide reach with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
