Cake firm plans product launch

Beattie secures brief from Finsbury Food

Finsbury FoodBeattie Communications has won a PR pitch to Finsbury Food Group, a manufacturer of cakes and bread supplying the UK supermarkets. It owns Lightbody Cakes, maker of celebration cakes, based in Hamilton.

Beattie will be involved in the launch of a product the company has created for chocolate and confectionery specialist Thorntons.

The business was won by Beattie’s Glasgow-based Food team led by Joanne Spence. She said: “Finsbury is one of the UK’s most innovative food companies and we can’t wait to get to work with the team on bringing this brand new product to market. We will be implementing a UK wide social, PR and experiential campaign that puts the product in the hands of more consumers than ever before.”

Natalie Nairn, brand manager at Finsbury, said: “We are delighted to be working with Beattie on our upcoming product launches.
