Transfer deadline: Simunovic, Christie poised for Celtic
As the transfer deadline looms, Simunovic’s arrival is another signal that Dutchman Virgil van Dijk will complete an £11.5 million move to Southampton.
The Croatian youngster is in Scotland for a medical and, according the Dinamo website, the contract between the clubs has been signed and will become valid soon after the examination.
Celtic have also agreed to send coaches to Dinamo’s football academy.
Simunovic, who has yet to feature for the Croatian national team, will become the third central defender to sign for the Parkhead club this summer, adding to Dedryck Boyata from Manchester City and Tyler Blackett on loan from Manchester United.

Hibs have signed Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz on a season-long loan deal, subject to international clearance.
Somalian-born Feruz, 19, has yet to play a game for the English Champions, having spent spells on loan with OFI in Crete and Blackpool following his controversial switch from Celtic to London four years ago.
