Douglas goes it alone; new role for McDade

Corrine DouglasCorrinne Douglas is leaving Perceptive Communicators just a month after being announced as an account director.

Ms Douglas, who only recently joined the firm from Beattie Communications from Cala Homes, is setting up her own operation.

“I have decided to part company with Perceptive and go it alone as Corazon PR,” she told Daily Business.

“I’ll be specialising in the built environment focusing on architects, planning consultancies, house builders, housing associations and construction companies.”

Ms Douglas was Cala Group corporate communications manager until recently joining Beattie. She was hired by Perceptive with responsibility for crisis communications services and new business development at the end of July.

Separately, Pamela McDade has moved across Glasgow from 3X1 to Weber Shandwick. She was formerly with Holyrood Partnership in Edinburgh.

Melissa Clark, another former Holyrood operator, has moved from Consolidated to Indigo where she is an account manager.
