Lettings in new development
Four tenants for Inovo in Glasgow innovation zone
Four tenants have taken space in Inovo in Glasgow’s technology and innovation zone. They are the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre; software company Spartan Solutions; UK and European patent attorney firm Lean IP; and hardware solutions reseller Datalytics Technology.
Linknode, an existing tenant specialising in 3D mobile visualisation applications, is taking 1,119 sq ft on the first floor to accommodate expansion.
Allan McQuade, senior director for business infrastructure at Scottish Enterprise, said: “Inovo bridges the gap between industry and academia by offering co-location opportunities and creating an ideal environment for industry to harness cutting edge research.
“This has helped to create a thriving new centre of excellence for technology and innovation which continues to appeal to companies from Scotland and further afield.”
Alison Taylor, head of business space for Scotland at GVA James Barr, added that the continued interest in Inovo reflects the building’s innovative design and green credentials.
Opened in January 2014, Inovo was 40% let at its launch and in February, gourmet sandwich maker, PIECE, took occupancy on the ground floor.
