Scottish Awards for Business Excellence

Wise is the choice for quality prize

Andrew CubieThe Wise Group, the social enterprise that helps the disadvantaged find work, was unveiled today as the winner of the top prize in the Scottish Awards for Business Excellence organised by Quality Scotland.

It was named winner of the 5-star Business Excellence award at a lunch and ceremony held at the Radisson Blu in Glasgow.

Andrew Cubie (left), chairman of Quality Scotland, said his organisation would mark its 25th anniversary next year and he was looking forward to a year working with new chief executive Claire Ford who aims to build its links with the corporate sector. He expressed his hope that the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who sent her best wishes, would be able to attend next year’s special anniversary event.
