Pop star's ranch for sale
Jackson’s Neverland looking for a buyer
One of the most intriguing property sales in the US has just been announced – pop star Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
The 2,700 acre estate near Santa Barbara, California, is on the market and, according to the Wall Street Journal, is expected to sell for $100 million.
Jackson, who died in June 2009 aged 50, lived at the Peter Pan-inspired home with his animal friends, including Bubbles the chimp who survived him.
The complex has been renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch and comes with two guesthouses, a tennis court, basketball court, 50-seat cinema and swimming pool. Jackson bought the property in 1987 for $19.5 million.
