Veteran to have team of four
Madden to head up PMP’s new Glasgow office
Madden joins from Watts Group where he was head of Scottish operations and brings a wealth of experience to the Edinburgh-based firm which this year celebrates its 25th year of business.
He has been active in the Scottish property market for 15 years after completing his traineeship at Graham and Sibbald, followed by a spell at GVA. His move to PMP ends a 10 year career at Watts Group.
The appointment comes as PMP has agreed terms on a ten year lease of 1,000 sq ft at Stirling House, St Vincent Street, Glasgow. PMP has appointed a team of four to support Madden.
John Dunn, managing director, said: “Joseph’s appointment comes at a time when we are experiencing ever-improving business conditions. A large range of projects is now receiving financial support and even speculative development has made a return. The timing is right for us to invest in our west coast business which will complement our established team in Edinburgh.
“Joseph has a formidable track record and is well known in the industry. We have every expectation that he will be a popular addition to our business bringing an immense network to aid further business growth. To support him, we expect further appointments over the next six months.”
PMP is an adviser of project management, cost management and building surveying services throughout Scotland and North England.
The business has been active in Glasgow for a number of years and is currently advising East Park School in Maryhill on a significant extension.
