Further expansion for Dundee firm
Blackadders acquires Angus practice
Blackadders, the legal practice, has acquired the Angus firm Marjory MacDonald Solicitors. The newly-expanded business will have 24 partners and more than 240 staff and will trade under the Blackadders banner.
In recent months the Dundee-based firm has added Condies of Perth and Adam Cochran & Co of Aberdeen and in addition to these bases it has offices in Arbroath, Edinburgh and Forfar.
Blackadders managing partner Johnston Clark said: “We are continuously working to expand and improve our service to clients and the merger with Marjory MacDonald Solicitors will assist us in this.”
MacDonald added: “I share with Blackadders a vision of the highest quality of advice and service to clients and the merger will provide great synergies.”
