New office for Corner Shop
Britain’s biggest specialist theatre and performing arts PR agency, The Corner Shop, has opened an office in Edinburgh.
Susie Gray, former head of communications for the Edinburgh International Festival will head up The Corner Shop Scotland.
It will focus on providing PR services for a wide range of cultural events and organisations throughout Scotland and south of the border.
Clients include Alchemy Glasgow for the British Council Scotland, Brass 2015 in Durham, and Edinburgh Festival Fringe projects such as Circus Hub for Underbelly Productions, Gecko Theatre company’s show Institute, overall PR strategy for The Pleasance, Ballet Revolucion’s BALLETRONIC from Cuba, Grid Iron’s Light Boxes, a Capella group Gobsmacked! and Dumbshow theatre company’s Electric Dreams.
Ms Gray has worked in events, arts marketing and PR for more than 15 years. As head of communications she ran the media and strategic communications of the Edinburgh International Festival for the last 10 years, prior to which she worked at the Traverse theatre and in events for clients including Kelloggs and the SRU at the Rugby World Cup. She is also a communications consultant for the European Union.
