Prestige model sold out

McLaren supercar given capital status

McLarenOn show, but not for sale. The limited edition McLaren 675LT, recently showcased at the Geneva Motor Show, made a one-day appearance in Edinburgh today.

The supercar, with a price tag of £259,500, attracted a lot of interest in the fashionable Multrees Walk, but sad to say it could not be bought.

McLaren built just 500 of the cars and they sold out within three weeks and there are no plans to build more.

Petrolheads should note that the 666 bhp car with a top speed of 208mph does 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and 0-100 mph in 5.4 seconds.

Just to whet the appetite of those keen to buy, the firm brought along the 650S production model (at rear of picture) which can be yours for £195,000.
