DougraySmith wins best newcomer
DougraySmith, the Scottish based real estate advisory firm formed in April last year by Chris Dougray and David Smith, has won the Newcomer of the Year category at the UK Property Awards. The ceremony to announce the winners was held at the Grosvenor House in London on Tuesday night and the firm was the only Scottish winner.
Mr Dougray said: “We are very proud to win this award and thank our clients for their continued support.”
Mr Smith added: “As the only Scottish nominee in all the categories we are especially pleased. The other nominees in our category are excellent organisations and the result came as quite a surprise.”
In the 12 months since launch DougraySmith has advised on more than £300 million of transactions and has in excess of £100m is sales currently in the market.
The firm advises Interserve Developments on the 650,000 sq ft Haymarket scheme and is developing strategic relationships in China, France and the US.
