Daily Business in deal with Contact Publicity

Terry MurdenDaily Business, the news website focusing on the financial, consumer and money markets, has formed a strategic partnership with Contact Publicity, the media sales specialist, to cross-promote their various activities.

The deal will see Daily Business promote the Scottish Financial Services Yearbook, which is published by Contact Publicity’s Graham Cairns.

The SFS website will carry regular news items from Daily Business.

As part of the same arrangement Glasgow-based Contact Publicity will handle all advertising sales for the Daily Business website

Daily Business Editor and Director Terry Murden (pictured), a former Business Editor at The Scotsman, said: “This is the latest partnership deal for Daily Business and another milestone in the growth of the most innovative media organisation in Scotland.

“Digital readership and advertising is building all the time and I am delighted that Daily Business is at the forefront of this change.

“It is now six months since Daily Business was launched and this deal with Contact Publicity follows the successful association with Edinburgh-based crowdfunding company LendingCrowd. I am sure the agreement with Contact Publicity will benefit both our companies.”

Graham Cairns, owner of Contact Publicity, echoed that sentiment, saying: “I am delighted to be working with Terry and the Daily Business website. There is great synergy between his website and my Financial Who’s Who Guide publication and I’m certain this partnership will have benefits for the many readers and users of both platforms.”
