Two recruits for Johnston Carmichael
Richard Britten (left), who joins as a tax director, previously worked with Anderson Anderson & Brown. He will be based in Johnston Carmichael’s Aberdeen office while Peter Nutini (below) joins Johnston Carmichael Wealth, the firm’s wealth advisory division, as financial planner. He will be based in Glasgow, working with clients across the west of Scotland.
A seasoned tax and national insurance professional, Mr Britten has first hand experience of building a practice for companies with internationally mobile employees. He will now take on a firm-wide and global advisory role through Johnston Carmichael’s membership of PKF International. His appointment comes as the firm is building capability to support oil and gas service businesses deliver commercially viable contracts beyond the North Sea to a wider international market place.
Mr Nutini brings 25 years of financial planning experience, including a high level of expertise within the pension and investment market. A member of the Personal Finance Society and a chartered banker, he joins from BDO’s financial planning division Broadstone and will now focus on developing the JC Wealth offering in Glasgow and the west of Scotland area.
