Palace event helps Muckett into catering role
GH Event Catering, headquartered in East Lothian, has appointed Ian Muckett to the newly created role of planning director. He will play a pivotal role in contributing to its plans to double turnover in the next financial year, building on the success of the last two financial years.
Mr Muckett has invaluable experience in the hospitality industry at a senior level with past positions including; general manager at Signet Library, Carlowrie Castle and senior hospitality manager at Heritage Portfolio. His responsibilities include enhancing the sales, planning and account management plan and reporting to managing director Brian Galbraith.
His experience includes delivering events such as The Queen’s Royal Garden Party at Holyrood Palace.
