Moodie returns north as Clydesdale head

George MoodieClydesdale Bank has strengthened its business and private banking team in Inverness with the appointment of a new head of centre.

George Moodie brings 25 years experience in the banking industry to his new role. Despite most of his time with the bank focused on the Highlands and Islands, George has most recently been based in Edinburgh.

Born in Inverness and raised in Golspie, Sutherland, George joined Clydesdale Bank in 1990 , and  has now returned to his native Highland home for his new role.

He said: “The economy in the Highlands and Islands presents many opportunities for ambitious companies with growth aspirations. I look forward to using my knowledge and understanding of the area to support local businesses.”
